Matt Sterling is an artist, producer, songwriter, and mix engineer.

Based in Chicago, IL Matt is a jack of all trades in music. After graduating college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he took a leap of faith in pursuing his passion in music. Since then, he has worked with a multitude of artists both locally and abroad including m.e.h., oddCouple, Piwa, Abel, Adam Martinez, shy niko, and Tamara Canada; landing tracks on several Spotify editorial playlists including Pollen and Fresh Finds.

Matt has also worked heavily in the sync space in recent years, making original music for global brands including Apple, Reeses, AMEX, KFC, Best Buy, Comcast, Sonos, Sephora, Chubb Insurance, Aerie, Fresh Step, and IT Cosmetics. His music has also been used in popular TV shows such as FX’s ‘The Bear’, ABC’s ‘High Potential’, and MTV Cribs.

Aside from collaborations, Matt has built his own personal catalog of self-produced, written, and performed music under his name “Matt Sterling”, which has received praise from the likes of Stereofox, These Days Mag, Dummy Mag, BIRP!, SweetEscapism, SoundsDeli, Ogre Time, and many others. He has also gained over two thousand subscribers on his instrumental YouTube Channel.

Outside of music you’ll find Matt digging through obscure thrift shops in the city and going down YouTube rabbit holes.
